I Have Learnt To Walk In Front Of My Own Shadow!

And this is what 'The Australian International Pageants' are all about.

I've never been the type of person who follows through with a project, I always give up after realizing it's too hard and for once in my life, I have followed through and finished. I have spent my life in the shadow of someone else and am forever fighting to just be accepted for who I am.

The struggles I face every morning are ridicules... But since I have become part of the international pageant family I have found the strength to not only accept myself for who I am, but to allow myself to walk in front of my own shadow and not behind everyone else's. In the last 6 months I have become a person I am proud to be and a person my family are for once proud of.

Being crowned Ms Australia isn't just a title to me, it's a chance for me to continue to move forward with my struggles and to encourage men and woman all over Australia to be ok with who they really are, to speak out about there struggles and to feel the ability to feel free and not trapped. Making a difference for more then one reason and more then one charity is the opportunity I was always scared to undertake. I'm not scared anymore and it's all thanks to The Australian International pageants.

I don't want this for me, I want this for all the men and woman who are too frightened to to step away from other people's shadows and too afraid to feel accepted... You can do anything that you set your mind to. I did and I have achieved more then I ever could imagine. Thank you for your time.. Renee Turner Miss Australia International 2017 Finalist.
